What to keep at hand
You don’t need to have everything straight away; but if you already have these documents we can assess your case more quickly and without having to call you back. You can share photos and documents with us on WhatsApp or by email.
Insurance details of the parties
The CAI joint accident report, if you filled it in, or the number plate, insurance company and policy number of the other vehicle. If the police or another authority came, the sheet with the exchange of personal details they gave you. If you don't have the paper form you can fill it in together on your phone with our online joint accident report (in Italian).
Emergency room documents
The emergency room report, medical reports, medical certificates and prescriptions; also keep the receipts for visits, medicines and treatment you have already paid for.
Photos of the event
If possible, photos of the vehicles, the place, the road signs and your injuries, taken immediately after the event; you can send them to us directly on WhatsApp.
Witnesses and letters received
Names and contact details of anyone who saw what happened and any letters, emails or offers you have already received from the insurance company. Witnesses can write and sign their version with the online written statement (in Italian).
